In the engravings made by Michela Mascarucci the imagined reality takes over, we see ourselves penetrated, scattered, in paths that visually narrate an experience of the world through interior architectures, where signs become vibrations of a condensed and tarnished flow of time. The image gives itself as a set of lacerations and wounds, forming geographies of lights and shadows, emerging from the contact with a small part of existence, in the journey of sensations between ideal and unreal unknown cities, where everything is always tirelessly reinterpreted, analyzed and dissected. Human time slows down and leaves space to the light, breaker and reconstructor of spaces and forms, true guide and travelling companion: it dialogues outside the known structures, in a continuous ritual, with the aim of an individual awareness within a society that lives more and more connected but more and more divided, aimed at making it enter into communication, swarming, within the same space, in the same story of salvation. Scenic and dramatic space that, consisting of compositional counterpoises, perspective tensions, tightly woven signs, is addressed to a spectator who wants to undertake this journey to discover new worlds, to be caged in the dense network of silent enigmas, which inevitably, the choice of a path taken arouses.
